Reading the August 2009 newsletter, it would seem that that IPI is taking the issue of high quality finish seriously! Here are a few extracts:
"The newly introduced ‘check list’ procedure is finally paying off. The contractors are now starting to work with it and understand more about our finishing standards. Apartments are first checked, issues are noted for the revision team to action. A few days later there is a further check before the unit is signed over. It does take a lot of time, however is providing the finishing results we look for."
In the Left wing of the Hotel (adjacent to Villa Moura), “the corridor walls and all exterior wooden frames have been repainted. On the inside we are now in the process of correcting flaws, such as damaged tiles and missing grouting. Once corrected, the rooms in the left wing will be re-painted.”
In the ‘Wellness’ area of the Hotel, “on the first floor (beauty treatments, hairdresser, dry massage) the toilets have been redone due to our finishing specifications. …The tiling in the toilets has been redone due to our finishing specifications and ready for installation. The marble floor in the main relax area has been torn up to be re-laid correctly."
