Real estate mogul Sam Zell, chairman of Equity Group Investments and Equity International, is regarded as a wise voice within the industry.
According to him Brazil, Egypt, and China remain some of the best places for property investments as the global financial crisis drags on.
These countries have a shortage of affordable housing and infrastructures that support foreign investment, Zell told a forum in New York sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton business school.
